Established in 1990 under the aegis of Shishu Koruna Sangha, a charitable organization devoted to the welfare and education of children, Bodhicariya Senior Secondary School began its journey with just 30 young learners. Today, it stands as a flourishing CBSE-affiliated institution with over 1,500 students from diverse social and cultural backgrounds — including many from underprivileged and tribal communities across North East India and West Bengal. Nestled in the fast-developing heart of New Town, Kolkata, our campus harmoniously combines modern infrastructure with an enduring spirit of compassion and inclusiveness.

True to its name, Bodhicariya — derived from the Pali words Bodhi (awakened wisdom) and Cariya (the practice and nurturing of that wisdom) — our school is deeply committed to blending knowledge with character, intellect with empathy, and achievement with service.
